DEVELOPMENT OF PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY

The Centre has its own team of specialists in production technologies and the design of manufacturing equipment and tools. The principal goal of the team is to design and implement modern production solutions that are both innovative and reliable and that take account of the specifics of the Russian industrial context. When designing production technologies, Centre specialists follow the "Poka-Yoke" principle of error prevention, developed in Japan to ensure that equipment is protected from human error. Their focus in the design of manufacturing technologies is to reduce labor intensity and production costs by minimizing losses during the start-up and commissioning, operation and maintenance of equipment. This is achieved by the use of reliable and innovative technology, flexible solutions that reduce the time required for equipment changeover, and steps to reduce the share of defective products by minimizing human error. This approach reduces manufacturing costs while maintaining quality at a consistently high level.
